It encourages interaction with others. Engagement is your goal. 2. You acknowledge others and that helps build a closer connection to them. It shows you care about what they have to say or who they are. 3. It's raises awareness and visibility for your events or other peoples events. 4. It creates more exposure as It brings people back to your profile where they can learn more about you and what you do. As I have said before.....please, do not misuse this feature. Use it for impact, but sparingly. I have a friend @NextStageBiz who conducts interviews on her radio show and she uses tagging to thank her guests. They are guaranteed to see the "Thanks You" and she gaines exposure on their wall. Efficient and effective. I was asked to explain further how this tagging feature can help your business….
